The ADA Coordinator is responsible for information dissemination regarding the Americans

with Disabilities Act (ADA).  The ADA Coordinator is responsible for ADA issues related

to employment/employees of the County.  The ADA Coordinator is responsible for

managing the efforts of Johnson County, Nebraska to comply with Title II

and investigating any complaints that the entity has violated.  Any complaints or

questions from the public or from employees regarding the Americans With Disabilities Act,

rights and responsibilities for the County and its employees, or hiring practices should be

channeled through the ADA Coordinator.

 

The County of Johnson County is committed to making its website accessible to the widest

possible audience including individuals with disabilities.  Johnson County has limited authority

over the website due to an agreement with the State of Nebraska, under which the state acts

as the web-master for the County.  Johnson County will apprise the State of Nebraska of any

known shortcoming regarding the accessibility of the website, and will make the site accessible

to the maximum extent feasible under the current agreement.  Information and material

available on the County website are available in a variety of accessible formats.  These

materials, suggestions, concerns or complaints are handled by the County ADA Coordinator.
